Burglary
A motorcycle was taken from residence between 2:30 a.m. and 3 a.m. Friday in the 100 block of Locust Avenue in Hollister. There are no suspects.
A residence was entered between Jan. 26 and Friday in the 1400 block of Gabilan Drive in Hollister, police said. Jewelry was taken. There are no suspects.

A 20-year-old San Juan Bautista man was arrested by the San Benito County Sheriff's Office on suspicion of attempted murder, battery with serious bodily injury, drug possession and damaging a telephone, all felonies, and being under the influence of drugs, a misdemeanor, after deputies responded to a disturbance call at 4:15 a.m. Sunday in San Juan Bautista. A woman was choked nearly unconscious and feared for her life.
False identification
A 41-year-old Hollister man was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of false identification to a peace officer and possession of drug paraphernalia, both misdemeanors, after officers responded to a call of trespassing at about 12:30 p.m. Friday in the first block of Vista Lane in Hollister.
Battery
A 21-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and battery with serious bodily injury, both felonies, after officers responded at 2 p.m. Saturday to the 1200 block of Rancho Drive in Hollister. A 45-year-old man was hit and kicked. There are two other suspects.
Vandalism
A 13-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of vandalism, a misdemeanor, after officers were called at about 4:48 p.m. Sunday to the 1700 block of Airline Highway in Hollister. Sunnyslope School was spray painted.
Fraud
A 54-year-old Hollister woman was arrested by police on suspicion of fraud and two counts of passing fake checks, all felonies, after a bank reported that a woman attempted to cash 21 traveler's checks at about 1 p.m. Wednesday at San Benito Bank, 300 Tres Pinos Road, Hollister.
Driving under the influence
A 19-year-old Hollister man was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving without a valid license, both misdemeanors, after a traffic stop at 7 p.m. Sunday on San Felipe Road north of Highway 156.
An 18-year-old Hollister man was arrested by the CHP on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a sheriff's office traffic stop at 2:48 a.m. Saturday on Hillcrest Road at Memorial Drive in Hollister.
A 25-year-old Gilroy man was arrested by the CHP on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license, both misdemeanors, after a traffic stop at 2:59 a.m. Saturday on Highway 25 south of Shore Road.
A 29-year-old Oakland man was arrested by the CHP on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop at 4:47 a.m. Saturday on Highway 101 north of Cannon Road.
A 23-year-old Hollister man was arrested by the CHP on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop at 5:19 a.m. Saturday on Highway 25 south of Shore Road.
A 22-year-old San Jose man was arrested by the CHP on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after responding to a medical emergency at 9:11 a.m. Sunday on Highway 25 north of Hudner Lane.
A 23-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving without a license, both misdemeanors, after a traffic stop at 11:25 p.m. Friday at Locust and Virginia Avenues, police said.
A 38-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license, both misdemeanors, after a crash at 10:28 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of Third Street in Hollister.
A 22-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop at 2:17 a.m. Monday on Fourth Street in Hollister.
Drugs
A 27-year-old Hollister man was arrested by the CHP on suspicion of drug possession and drug sales, both felonies, after a traffic stop at 10:10 a.m. Saturday on Frazier Lake Road south of Bloomfield Road, according to the CHP.
