Police blotter: Gas used to set fire at intersection

Arson
An unknown person poured gasoline onto the road at the intersection of Clearview and Nez Perce Drive and set it ablaze in the early hours of Sunday, police said. No one was injured in the suspected arson, no cars were damaged and police have no suspects.
Assault
Two teenage Hispanic males and suspected gang members are reported to have thrown rocks and beer bottles at passing cars in the 1100 block of Sherwood Drive on Thursday, narrowly missing an elderly woman, police said. No arrests were made and a more detailed suspect description was unavailable.
Vehicle theft
A 2001 brown Toyota Sienna was reported stolen from a residence in the 200 block of Santa Ana Road on Sunday.
The vehicle is reported to have been taken from the driveway of the residence. Police have no suspects.
Burglary
A burglary was reported Friday in the 600 block of Powell Street when a person said someone forced open the door of a house and took $200 as well as $500 worth of jewelry. No arrest have been made, and police currently have no suspects.
