The 69-year-old Hollister man killed when his car overturned Sunday on Highway 101 has been identified as Robert David Sanchez, according to the Santa Clara County Medical Examiner's Office.
Sanchez was southbound on Highway 101 - south of Coyote Creek Golf Drive - when he lost control of a 2004 Chevrolet for unknown reasons, hit the center divider, traveled back into the road and overturned, according to the California Highway Patrol.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The man was the only person in the car.
The medical examiner's office declined to release an official cause of death until the case is closed.
